After breaking an ankle playing football and having issues with my shoulder i made an appointment to see Julie Lee for Physiotherapy. Julie is very good and i would highly recomend her. Julie is professional, friendly, extremely knowledgable and is able to translate the technical details of your injury and recovery into terminology you can understand. She has the ability to make you feel accountable for your recovery ( because ultimately it is down to the individual to listen and put the effort in) but not under pressure to meet strict milestones, she works with your ability and mobility. I am very pleased with my progress and Julie's guidance and knowledge has been crucial. Thank you.

I had really bad hip and knee pain from a cricket injury and needed a last minute appointment ahead of a game tomorrow- I had an appointment with Krishna who efficiently covered my injury history and then onto the knee and hip issue. This was giving me really bad pain even walking short distances and he assessed and located the exact area to manipulate and release the pain very quickly. I went in limping and walked out the practice normally with no limp at all! He advised what to do after the appointment and moving forwards and I have booked in for 2 weeks time for a check up and to address other muscular issues. Incredibly professional, explained and listened so well and I am looking forward to addressing other issues moving forwards! Thank you Krishna!

Tom was brilliant. He quickly diagnosed my elite road cyclist back problem and ran through some remedial exercises. I followed these through for a few weeks and the problem was completely cured. A brilliant practitioner, who I can thoroughly recommend. Thanks Tom!

I got injured while training for a marathon. When I went to see Sally 3 weeks before the run I couldn't walk without pain let alone run. Sally listened to my goals and was so encouraging. She clearly knows what she's doing too because I ran it yesterday, no stopping and no pain! Would 100% recommend!

    Patient review

Sally was brilliant in diagnosing my problem and also explaining probable causes. she put a plan of exercises together and some somewhat uncomfortable manipulation, which have put me on the road to recovery after 2 years of Dr's talking rubbish (which I knew). I am back running and it will be some time before I'm back to where I want to be, but I know I'll get there, which is a huge relief.

Louise has resolved a long standing hip issue and guided me through rehabilitation from abdominal surgery. Her combined expertise with physio and pilates is highly effective, delivered with consummate professionalism and care for the patient. She has also been a great help analysing movement patterns of my sport (golf) to help address any physical weaknesses/imbalances. Can't recommend Impact highly enough. Thanks Louise!

My physio with impact was excellent. The sessions were targeted for strength building to get me back to running. Tony was very knowledgeable and understand my condition well i thought.

It's definitely the basics that make the difference. I apprehensively made my way to my appointment, creaking knees and all, prepared to be told I had to stop running and cycling and prepare for an operation only to be told the pain and discomfort could be eased by stretching to re-align my kneecap. Lo and behold I noticed a difference in a week and was almost pain free in 2. I cycled a charity 100 mile ride 3 weeks later and walked the Yorkshire 3 Peaks a week later. Great credit to Phil and the team at Impact, seen quickly after referral and easy to get to although I'd prefer more clinic time at Derby Arena.

The service we received from Louise was excellent. Her help and advice helped my son recover from his leg injury. She returned our calls to offer professional advice and moved his appointment forward to see him so she could remind him about the risks of returning to sport too soon. Many thanks, Louise – he is now fit and well, and playing football again!

I was sent to Impact Physiotherapy by my health insurance company after a full hip replacement operation in November 2018. The joint was very stiff and I was struggling to move normally or return to my full range of movement. I had 6 sessions with Sally Moore who did an excellent job of getting me back to full health allowing me to continue my martial arts and gym training. On visiting the Professor who carried out the surgery for a post op review, he was delighted with the progress and has decided to refer other patients with sports related injuries to Impact in the future. Thank you to the team at Impact for all of their hard work in helping me recover.

Chris diagnosed my running injury as an overloaded achilles tendon. A structured program of exercises improved the problem and led on to stability based exercises. I am now building up my running distance again on the 3rd phase which is a Run/Walk program. Not there yet but thank you Chris

I had a really positive and enjoyable series of physio appointments with Danni Pennacchia to resolve a running injury. Danni quickly diagnosed the issue and through of combination of massage and home/gym exercises has helped me to get back to full health. Danni thoroughly recorded and noted my progress throughout my treatment. Danni was good at coming up with new exercises to make it more interesting and easier to commit to doing them. Danni was also able to adjust her approach as my pregnancy progressed. Danni is great at explaining what's happening inside your body which helped me understand better how to help myself. Finally, I always enjoyed my physio appointments as Danni as she has a very kind and attentive manner.

Very impressed. I have used the NHS physio before and several other private clinics but have always left disappointed and without any improvement in my sports injuries, meaning that I had to diagnose and solve the issue myself. However, having used Impact Physio a few times I can say that they have been genuinely helpful both in terms of diagnosing the injury and treating it. The physiotherapist I accessed through Impact also did not keep me coming back for further unnecessary sessions meaning you can make rapid progress. I also found the booking at West Bridgford convenient and simple.

I was having trouble with an injury on my leg and as a runner it was impacting me training competing. Phil at Impact was great, we had and initial assessment session where he was able to identify the problem and give me rehab exercises to complete for two weeks. After two weeks I returned where I was given some more exercises building on the ones previously given. This all helped to build the strength back up and help me overcome the injury. I'm now back running and pain free. Great service, personable staff, highly recommended.

I only ever use Impact Physio. I have seen Phil at West Bridgford over a long period of time. Everything is excellent. Phil is highly professional while being friendly , reassuring and knowledgeable. I have known him as a physiotherapist for many years and he is also experienced at dealing with sports related injuries. He successfully treated my sons when they were swimming at County level. I can not recommend his expertise highly enough. Treatment works well and options given for exercises keep you comfortable for a long period of time. Highly recommended.

Following serious surgery I wanted to get back to cycling and running. Booking a Full Body MOT with Chris Davenport at Impact Physio worked a treat. Chris took time to understand the issues I had and how they affected my fitness. He developed a personal exercise schedule, remedial exercises for my knee injury and a plan for getting back running. His 4 week follow up provided an updated exercise schedule to continue my progression. The result is that I'm back cycling and running pain free and improving week by week. Thanks Chris and Impact Physio, I'm chuffed with how it went. Long Eaton Parkrun this weekend!

Very professional and welcoming. Sara took the time to listen to what I wanted from my massage; to help in preparation for the Ramathon. She identified the problem areas and now, 6 hours later I definitely feel less tense and well stretched.

I've had 'lower back' pain almost constantly for two years,it's completely impacted my life, it's affected my dancing which I love, my gym sessions, even walking, shopping, doing the house work, after seeing Chris who is totally professional, he taught me which muscle group was causing the pain, how to work with it on a daily basis, which things to avoid in the gym that were agrravating it, he's taught me exercises that I can do at home (or away) and in the gym to strengthen the msucles, I'm like a different person, no longer in pain. I can't thank Chris enough, he's completely changed my life.

I self-referred to Impact Physio last year for the first time and had an initial appointment with JL who I believe was fairly new to the company (but experienced in physio). I have also seen her again recently. She is extremely personable and evidently very passionate about her field in physio – as well as fitness. If you're into sport and need a physio, I recommend her. I felt very listened to, very understood and in safe hands. I have come out of both appointments with short and long term improvements.

I had problems with my calf's getting cramped, when running long distances. I have searched for a good physiotherapy practice and found the reviews for impact practice are encouraging to book appointment. I went and the lady was so delegate and professional, she listened to me carefully and straight away she identified my problem. Not only that, she started explaining to me in a very simple terms what my problem was and how can I overcome it. She gave the excerices to follow and since then I felt better and by time my cramps vanished on the long distances run. I don't hesitate to recommend impact physiotherapy for friends and family

If you are looking for a great physio I would highly recommend Christine Koh. Friendly, practical advice that worked to manage a back injury. Great sports massage and an easy to follow program of exercises provided that has got me back on the bike, in the pool and on the road.
