I’ve been seeing Alan Beers for an issue I’ve had with my shoulder. He’s a great guy and extremely knowledgeable. I left the session with a good understanding of what had been going wrong and a realistic plan to manage my recovery. The results have been excellent

Alan is excellent, friendly and a pleasure to visit. He has given me the exercises I need to help my knee get better. After just over a month and two sessions doing the exercises, I am getting far less pain than I was before.

I had my first Physio session at the beginning of the week and Steven was really good, professional, thorough and helpful. He relieved my ongoing shoulder issues and even gave me some home exercises to do to maintain better movement and even advised that with the work that he has done, that I shouldn't have to come back in – it's been a few days later and I've gone back to working out intensely and there is no strain or stiffness during or after my sessions, my first visit and it was a very successful one! Thank you once again Steven! Chantelle

Sally at Impact at Pride Park did a wonderful job in getting me back on my feet with my back problem. From the onset, instructions on each exercise was given clearly and I'm in a much better position now due to great help from Sally. Fantastic work. Sally was a God send.

I went to the doctor with a shoulder problem and was referred very quickly to Impact Physiotherapy at Pride Park. I saw Phil Tranter and Alan Beers who were excellent in treating the issue and giving me advice on different exercises. Over the course of the sessions my shoulder problem went away and I am very grateful to Phil and Alan for their help. I'd highly recommend them to anyone who is in need of physiotherapy.

Patient review
It's definitely the basics that make the difference. I apprehensively made my way to my appointment, creaking knees and all, prepared to be told I had to stop running and cycling and prepare for an operation only to be told the pain and discomfort could be eased by stretching to re-align my kneecap. Lo and behold I noticed a difference in a week and was almost pain free in 2. I cycled a charity 100 mile ride 3 weeks later and walked the Yorkshire 3 Peaks a week later. Great credit to Phil and the team at Impact, seen quickly after referral and easy to get to although I'd prefer more clinic time at Derby Arena.

I was referred to the Pride Park clinic by my GP after being diagnosed with a frozen shoulder. I saw two of your Physiotherapists- the first visit was with Phil & subsequent visits with Chris. Both were very gentle & professional & I was able to be signed off quicker than expected thanks to their ‘magic hands’. I would have no hesitation in recommending both of them

I recently attended Impact Physio for treatment on my neck & shoulder. Impact Physio based at Pride Park, Derby was easy to get to with plenty of parking located at Derby Arena. I was treated by Alan Beer from Impact Physio over several months. I was made to feel comfortable throughout the Physio session & found the treatment helpful for my condition. I would highly recommend Impact Physio.

I was referred to impact by my doctor due to severe arthritis in my hips ,had a very long wait for an appointment and to be honest I was not expecting physio to help much .I saw a lovely physio called Steven who immediately puts you at ease and after a few weeks I saw much improvement .At the end of my course of physio the pain had eased a lot and was much less painful on walking .I definitely would recommend impact physio and particularly Steven who I would like to thank for all his help .

I've been impressed with every aspect of this service. When I've needed to change an appointment the people I've spoken to have been helpful and understanding. The physio, Jack Clayton, was polite, friendly and knowledgeable. He listened to my feedback and worked with me to find a programme I could follow. I wouldn't hesitate to use again in the future. Thank you!

Fiona, my physio, was very knowledgeable and explained issues she found with my back very clearly. From week to week she provided me with stretches and exercises which slowly but surely eased the pain and helped to start to strengthen my core. Thanks. It’s up to me now to follow the excellent advice!

I had problems with my calf's getting cramped, when running long distances. I have searched for a good physiotherapy practice and found the reviews for impact practice are encouraging to book appointment. I went and the lady was so delegate and professional, she listened to me carefully and straight away she identified my problem. Not only that, she started explaining to me in a very simple terms what my problem was and how can I overcome it. She gave the excerices to follow and since then I felt better and by time my cramps vanished on the long distances run. I don't hesitate to recommend impact physiotherapy for friends and family
