Reviews for Fiona
I have recently had a course of treatments with Physio,Fiona Hunter,a lovely lady and so helpful. Fiona diagnosed the problem and has been so supportive and helpful with my treatment, can’t thank her enough.
The receptionists are lovely and helpful, everywhere is so clean and personal protection is in place.
Referred by GP for some physio sessions on my lower back. Saw Fiona who was great. No nonsense explanations of what was needed, only had a few sessions but was helped so much with certain strength and stretching exercises to do and reassured it would improve which thankfully it did. Highly recommended to anyone who may be struggling and needs help….it helped me for sure!
Came to Impact with a bad back which I couldn’t walk more than a few yards with but after an in-depth examination and sets of exercises I am now back walking miles and riding my road bike
Thank you Fiona
It has been life changing having physio with Fiona. She has encouraged me to work on exercises I can manage and has gradually introduced more over time.
I now feel more confident to know how to manage my pain and have exercises to help me continue to increase my strength.
I can not praise her enough.
Wow! I received excellent care following a back injury. The problem was identified and specific targeted treatment was given by a very skilled and knowledgeable practitioner
I was kept informed and given exercises to do between appointments
Highly professional with empathy without being ‘patronising’ given my age!
I have no hesitation in recommending Impact Physio I will be forever grateful
Very special thanks to Fiona
I had been struggling with neck and shoulder pain for months, and nothing was easing this, attending physio with fiona was so helpful, she was able to give me treatment and advise at each session, and exercise to do in-between visits which helped release the tension in my neck and shoulder, each session was greeted with a smiling face and fiona listen carefully to what I had to say and was able to give me positive advise. I always came away feeling positive. I have now finished my sessions and have got a plan and excersie to ensure my problem is kept manageable. I would like to say thankyou to Fiona, and would recommend impact physio.
Fiona Hunter has been a great professional help through a very confusing and painful time after my injury, I couldn’t have done without her. Very thankful.
Fiona was very knowledgeable and explained issues she found clearly. From week to week she provided me with stretches and exercises which slowly but surely eased the pain and helped to start to strengthen my core. Thanks. It’s up to me now to follow the excellent advice!
Although my problem was quite complex IE:pins and needles in my thigh, Fiona and the team found the root of the problem and treated it accordingly .thank you Fiona and team .
I had a very good experience with the Impact Physio from the reception through diagnosis and treatment. I had full confidence in expertise of the physiotherapist Mrs Fiona Hunter and she helped very much with my piriformis syndromme. Thank you very much. Anna
Fiona treated my back problems and gave me an excellent range of well explained exercises – together these have made me a lot better now.
Great physio, Fiona sorted my back out in super quick time. Wish I had come months ago!!
I’m returning customer to Impact Physiotherapy. Their technique is absolutely brilliant. I could see a progress in a couple days. I would highly recommend this clinic. Special thank you to Fiona and Chris.
The physio I received from a brilliant very supportive lady called Fiona was fantastic. She would spend the first few minutes asking how the week had gone with my physio exercise and then begin a review of how well I could move and what was easier and what felt worse! From that we would move on to physio and possible new exercises to try. Fiona always made me feel comfortable and better able to cope by the end of the session.
Fiona was so encouraging and supportive encouraging me to exercise which helped me to push through the pain. She has given me the tools I need to cope when my neck and shoulder goes into spasms. It was such a positive experience and I am very grateful. When I first met her I was in extreme pain with very little movement. I am tons better now.
Many thanks to Fiona, the daily shoulder exercises were easy, realistic and very effective. Having an exercise program specifically designed for me, that changed in line with my progress, certainly helped greatly. Thanks again.
I have been attending the Long Eaton branch for several years. The receptionists are always very polite and helpful. They are also extremely efficient both before an appointment with e-mail reminders and on the day of a visit. They create a calm and business like “”first impression”” of Impact Physiotherapy. I cannot rate them highly enough. I have been seen by Fiona on and off for several years. Besides being an accomplished physiotherapist, she always explains fully the treatment and clearly explains exercises for me to do between appointments and importantly makes sure that I understand before I leave that day. I have recently had massages with Amanda which I shall continue to do on a monthly basis. Again any treatment is explained in detail and she also listens to what I am saying so that she can make valued judgements on how she approaches my issues. I would thoroughly recommend the Long Eaton practice from the evidence of first hand experience.
