
Jo Keenan-Evans
Jo qualified in Complementary Medicine in 2002, gaining a distinction in anatomy, physiology, pathology and massage at ITEC diploma level.
Jo has lectured in an array of Complementary Therapy modalities (Remedial Massage, Lymphatic Drainage, Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Pregnancy Massage, Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology ) for nearly 25 years in further education and private academies and as a practitioner working in various clinics and her own practice.
Jo has extensive knowledge of working in emergency medical dispatch for the Ambulance Service managing staff and emergency care and helping staff as a TRiM (Trauma risk incident management) Practitioner for nearly 10 years with a focus on person centred care.
Jo’s passion, experience and knowledge is looking at how stress, anxiety, burnout and tension affects the body’s system especially muscles, lymphatic, nervous and hormonal systems.
Jo practices an array of techniques and therapeutic modalities from: deep tissue, MET (muscle energy techniques), pressure point release, lymphatic drainage and, nervous and hormonal homeostasis. Jo enjoys helping people feel and move better than when they came in and is passionate about making a difference to the health and holistic well-being of people she treats.
