Small classes to allow individual attention and instruction

Zoom Classes

All of our classes are currently via zoom at the moment.   Here’s Louise’s top tips to get the most our of your session;

  • Make sure your laptop or iPad is well charged and you have logged in a little early to ensure all updates are up to date!

  • Ensure you are in a well lit area, with space around you to move. It is better with windows in front of you, as if they are behind you it can make it hard to see your body. Turn lights on if it is a little dark. A quiet room with minimal background noise and distractions is best.

  • Always have a cushion handy for popping under your head or using for support if needed.

  • If your balance is an issue, keep a chair handy to use for stability for any balance exercises.

  • If you are using an iPad or phone, have a few things handy to help prop it up or lean it against so if we change position, you can adjust it easily. Moving it around creates a lot of noise for other class participants.

  • Try to be sideways on to the camera when we are doing matwork. This helps the instructor to see you more clearly and helps to prevent straining looking up to the screen. If you are able to, link a HDMI cable to your TV to you can see more easily on a big screen. Use ‘speaker view’ too so the instructor is the main focus on your screen.
