Friendly and experienced staff always happy to tailor exercise and Pilates lessons to your needs and abilities. Since attending my mobility and core strength have improved, not to mention the classes are lots of fun.
I’ve had ‘lower back’ pain almost constantly for two years,it’s completely impacted my life, it’s affected my dancing which I love, my gym sessions, even walking, shopping, doing the house work, after seeing Chris who is totally professional, he taught me which muscle group was causing the pain, how to work with it on a daily basis, which things to avoid in the gym that were agrravating it, he’s taught me exercises that I can do at home (or away) and in the gym to strengthen the msucles, I’m like a different person, no longer in pain. I can’t thank Chris enough, he’s completely changed my life.
As I’ve aged I’ve found that I’ve got increasingly stiff and my joints and mobility have significantly reduced. To counteract these conditions I have been thinking about taking up Pilates and Yoga again, I used to attend classes but dropped out several years ago due to a change in my circumstances. I found Impact Physio through a recommendation from a friend and decided to join. I have now been attending both Pilates and Yoga classes since September this year and have seen a big difference in how I feel physically. The classes are not only good for me but I find them hugely enjoyable, I get a real “”buzz”” out of the exercises. In addition to the feel good factor generated by the exercises, a big plus about going to Impact Physio is that the staff are friendly and approachable. This makes the classes a very good experience, one I would recommend.
Fantastic staff and atmosphere. Not one of the intimidating gym type of places but welcoming, encouraging but still push you when needed. Have helped me get back to full fitness following a broken leg and even though I am now mended I will keep going because its great!
I have been attending the Long Eaton branch for several years. The receptionists are always very polite and helpful. They are also extremely efficient both before an appointment with e-mail reminders and on the day of a visit. They create a calm and business like “”first impression”” of Impact Physiotherapy. I cannot rate them highly enough. I have been seen by Fiona on and off for several years. Besides being an accomplished physiotherapist, she always explains fully the treatment and clearly explains exercises for me to do between appointments and importantly makes sure that I understand before I leave that day. I have recently had massages with Amanda which I shall continue to do on a monthly basis. Again any treatment is explained in detail and she also listens to what I am saying so that she can make valued judgements on how she approaches my issues. I would thoroughly recommend the Long Eaton practice from the evidence of first hand experience.
Excellent service from both Rachel, the students and Chris – the interventions are making a world of difference already. I will definitely recommend you whenever I talk to someone who I think would benefit from your services. Thank you!
I had developed a sore shoulder caused by too much swimming. Rachel was brilliant and as well as treating it, gave me some excellent exercises to strengthen the area. Pleased to say the problem hasn’t returned and I’d definitely recommend anyone with a niggle to book a visit!
I had 8 Physio sessions with my physio therapist Chris and he was most helpful and considerate throughout for all of my problems. He always gave good advise and posted exercises for me to do at home which helped immensely. What I saw of the Long Eaton Impact Physiotherapy place the therapists who work there were well equipped and trained to deal with any of your problems to re habilitate.
