Many patients find that a 'Tune up' every few weeks (or months) can help them feel good and stop them having repeated episodes of pain. By undergoing an ongoing course of treatment, we can help prevent any injuries and identify problems which might occur in the future.
Who is it for? The assessment is suitable for anyone ...
Unlike the Full Body MOT, the Body Tune up service is designed as a series of regular physiotherapy appointments which treat any specific problems or injuries you might have.
The treatment(s) that you receive will depend on the type of problem we need to address and may include soft tissue and joint mobilisation combined with specific exercises to address any identified issues.

Yes there is! Pay for 9 and receive 10 sessions (10% saving).
You should wear loose comfortable clothing to allow free movement during the sessions. We will need to treat the area concerned, so for example, if it is your knee which needs treatment, then we would suggest wearing shorts. Please let us know if you would like the assessment to be carried out by a therapist of the same sex.
After the assessment, we will provide you with a full prevention or injury treatment plan which may include a tailored online exercise programme you can do at home. with advice on other subjects such as posture. Your plan and programme will be progressed after each visit.
These check-ups can be highly beneficial for those who play sports, to see how to protect and strengthen muscles. They can also be helpful for anyone who is recovering from an injury or suffering from muscular aches and pains.
