Impact Physio have partnered with Team Derby to offer discounted Physiotherapy services to all students, sports teams and staff from Derby University.
We are delighted to have partnered with Team Derby as the Official Physiotherapists of Team Derby and believe that partnership will allow students and teams from Derby University to continue to achieve excellent results.
What is Team Derby?
Team Derby is the focal point for the development and delivery of sport at Derby providing students, staff, and members of the public with a world of sporting opportunity, fitness and activity. Team Derby is fast developing a strong reputation for increasing participation and raising the level of performance.

Discounted costs
Our role will be to provide Physiotherapy Sports clinics to University staff and students at discounted prices. (prices are for half hour sessions)
- Team Derby Sports Club Members - £20 (£15 off)
- Team Derby Fitness Gym Members - £25 (£10 off)
- Derby University Students - £27 (£8 off)
- Derby University Staff - £30 (£5 off)
When are the clinics and how do I book?
We will be running clinics at the following times:
- Medical Centre
Tuesday and Thursdays - 5.30pm - 8.30pm
- Kedleston Road Site
Match day Wednesdays - 2pm - 5pm - Pride Park clinic
Monday to Friday 8.00am – 8.00pm
Saturday mornings 8.00am – 12.00pm
The Physio
Phil Tranter
Phil graduated from Salford University in 2001 and following a short period working in Manchester relocated to Nottingham and has worked in private practice over the past 8 years. Phil has always combined private practice with working in sport.
This has included Rugby Union, Football and currently combines private practice with work for the British Canoe Union and England Women's Cricket team.
