Climb Everest with Rich!

737 Challenge - Everest

Steve Williams OBE and Richard Parks are currently resting at Everest base camp as they prepare for their attempt to reach the summit of Everest later in the week. They will leave early wednesday morning, heading towards camp 2, then a night each at camp 3 and 4 at the South Col before leaving early saturday morning, weather allowing, aiming to summit.

Richard Parks is currently on leg 7 of his 9 leg challenge. His aim to raise £1 million for Marie Curie. Reaching 7 summits, 3 poles in 7 months. Steve Williams, a friend of Impact has joined him for the North Pole and now Everest.

At Impact we are supporting the 737 challenge.  We are climbing 50,000 steps, the equivalent of 8,850metres. (Approximately!! Using a 7” step)  We are counting and adding together the number of steps made at the clinic and by Impact clients and friends.  Together we have already added up over 20,000.

Please join us and “pledge” your stair climbing – join us on facebook/twitter. Or email us with your steps.

All money raised goes directly to the challenge and 100% to Marie Curie.

Please help us support this good cause, get fitter and have a bit of fun too!
